Karnataka students shine in COMEDK's UGET engineering

BENGALURU: Like previous year, this year also seven students out of the top ten rank holders in COMEDK’s UGET for engineering seats are from Karnataka. First and second rank holders are from Bengaluru. The other ranks secured by the Karnataka students are fifth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth.
Third rank has been secured by a Telangana student and fourth and sixth ranks are secured by students of Andhra Pradesh.As many as 55,680 students from different parts of the country has appeared for UGET.
The first 1000 rank holders have secured more than 70% marks in UGET, which is conducted for 180 marks and 1361 candidates have secured marks between 66% and 70%. As many as 2,373 students are in the range of 60% to 65%. 6,854 candidates have secured less than 60% but more than 50%/.
Among the first 100 rank holders, 56 are from Karnataka and the remaining are 44 candidates are from other states and 417 out of first 1000 rank holders are from Karnataka and the remaining 583 are from other states.
The highest marks has been secured by Adhokshaja V Madhwaraj, he has secured 170 marks out of 180 marks.
